Ahhh! It’s almost here! This is both very exciting and scary, I can’t stress the second part enough.
Just days away my second book will be released into the world. Very few things scare me, I’m a “nothing to fear but fear itself” kinda person. However in this, the time leading up to the book release that fear is all too real.
While I do have confidence in the story I’ve told, it is still not up to me to make this successful. Yes, it is partly up to me. The thing is it is up to the reader to make it a full blown success. The thought of “will they like it?” Is a hard one to squish down but in this position you really don’t have a choice.
The difference between this book release and the release of Here We Remain, is I had no idea what I was doing or how it would work out. Zero expectations made it less scary. This go round I have higher expectations and hope that I hit them.
I hope you all have fun on the ride and this book will gain traction. Book three Hear After, is already finished and the work to make that one even better than this one is underway! -MH
